Know your budget before you shop
Work out a monthly payment, see which cars fit, and go to the dealer knowing your numbers. Nothing here checks your credit or asks for personal details.
No credit check
The calculators run in your browser. We never ask for your credit score, income or Social Security number.
An estimate on every car
Each car shows an estimated monthly payment next to its price, with the terms it assumes, so you can compare cars by what they'd cost each month.

Trade-in estimate
What's your car worth?

In Texas, trading in at the dealer also lowers the sales tax on the car you're buying. Trade in or sell privately?
Your estimate will appear here.
Estimated trade-in value
This is an estimate, not an offer. A dealer will look at the car in person; the offer depends on its exact trim, options, history and local demand.
How is this worked out?
We start from what this type of car costs new (Kelley Blue Book averages), adjust for what it cost in its model year, take off typical depreciation for its age (from iSeeCars' study of 950,000 used cars), then adjust for miles, condition and title. Dealers usually offer about 20% less than they'd ask for the car, so the range is set around that. When similar cars are listed on CARZyro, their prices are taken into account too.

Frequently asked questions
More questions about CARZyro? See the full FAQ.
Does CARZyro offer car loans or pre-qualification?
No. CARZyro isn't a lender and doesn't arrange loans or work with lenders, so there's no pre-qualification here. You can finance a car through the dealer, or get a loan from your own bank or credit union before you buy.
Will using the calculator affect my credit score?
No. The calculators run in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to CARZyro or anyone else, and we never check your credit. Only the price you choose is used, as a search filter, when you look at cars.
How is the monthly estimate on each car worked out?
Every car shows an estimate with 10% down, a 60-month loan and 7% APR, and says so next to it. If you'd rather see your own numbers, set them in the calculator and choose "Use these numbers on every car's estimate": this browser then uses your down payment, loan length and APR on every car. See also how the estimate works.
Is the estimate an offer of credit?
No. It's a calculation to help you plan. Your actual rate and payment depend on your credit, the lender, the car, the loan length and the amount you borrow. A lender or the dealer gives you the real terms.
Do the estimates include taxes and fees?
No. They don't include sales tax (6.25% of the price in Texas), title and registration fees, or the dealer's fees. Ask the dealer for the out-the-door price, which includes everything, and put that in the calculator for a closer estimate.
What is APR?
The annual percentage rate: the yearly cost of borrowing, including interest and some lender fees, as a percentage. A lower APR means lower monthly payments and less paid over the life of the loan. The same car can cost very different amounts at different APRs, so compare offers.
How does a down payment or trade-in change my payment?
Both lower the amount you borrow, so the monthly payment and the total interest go down. In Texas, a trade-in at the dealer also lowers the sales tax: you're taxed on the price minus your trade-in's value. Our guide Trade in or sell privately? has an example.
Should I compare a longer or shorter loan?
A longer loan lowers the monthly payment but usually costs more in total, because you pay interest for longer. Switch the loan length in the calculator to see both numbers: the monthly payment and the total interest.
How do I ask a dealer about financing?
Use Contact dealer or Message on the car's page and ask what financing they offer and at what rate. CARZyro doesn't see or take part in any financing agreement; it's between you and the dealer or lender.
Estimated payments are for information only and are not an offer or promise of credit. CARZyro is not a lender or loan broker and is not involved in any financing. Estimates don't include sales tax, title, registration or dealer fees. Your actual rate and payment depend on your credit history, the lender, the vehicle and the loan terms.
